Freshman Development
A new year means new freshmen and new opportunities. It's critical that first year players have proper training focused on fundamentals and technique. Establishing groundwork for them can be monumental for their success, giving them the opportunity to flourish and expand their skill set.
Even veteran quarterbacks rely on the basic fundamental training like the drills and techniques practiced all over the country such as, proper pocket posture, throwing motion, lower body mechanics, figure 8 drill and square drill.
A clear comprehension of the position is the first and foremost focus. A quarterback needs to fully understand the position and the responsibilities that come with it. A solid quarterback training will contribute to your player remarkably improving his accuracy and throwing power by practicing the same QB drills that the pros use.
Passing is only one characteristic of the quarterback position. Without the proper footwork and mechanics, a quarterback will never reach his potential. The correct training will allow him to adjust his body properly, to not only improve speed, control and power but accuracy.
A good training program can elevate young freshman and high schoolers to be equipped and prepared when their number is called.
