Want the Full System and 3 Bonus Zooms with Coach Marty?
MULTIPLE & EFFICIENT. EASY TO LEARN...NO MEMORIZATION
Learn from the Back-to-Back JUCO Coach of the Year in California
Took an 0-10 team on academic probation to a 20-2 win past two seasons
Coach Marty has to keep it simple....
JUCO kids are not the sharpest tools in the shed and didn't have the grades or SAT scores for a university....
....AND they show up to the campus on Aug 1...
That leaves Coach Marty 3 weeks to teach an entire offense.....
It is hard enough lining correctly to a fast tempo, no-huddle team....which the MULTIPLE GUN OFFENSE is....
....but even harder to line up when there are a gazzilion formations...
AND when you do line up right...BAM...somebody goes in motion.
YOUR OFFENSE CAN ONLY BE AS MULTIPLE AS YOUR TERMINOLOGY ALLOWS
This course is over an hour long!!!
Coach Marty breaks down their user friendly INSIDE ZONE and ZONE READ running plays.
He will talk about the
Do You Play Schools Bigger Than You?
Can’t Block the D-1 End With the Booster Prez Son?
THEN YOU NEED POWER READ !!!
“If you can’t block ‘em, read ‘em.”
POWER READ is the so-called Inverted Veer and has been the weapon of choice for Cam Newton, RG3, and now Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, and Jalen Hurts.
It evolved from the Zone Read, which the QB reads an unblocked defender on the backside. But reading backside & having the QB go in the opposite direction of the RB was missing a great part of option football, which was to read a frontside defender.
The POWER READ solves that dilemma because it reads an unblocked defender on the frontside, while sending both the RB and QB in same direction, but on inverted paths: the RB goes outside while the QB dives inside.
POWER & POWER READ are two plays in one because both use the simple POWER blocking scheme: OL use angles & double teams to cave down the defense & leave the edge defender unblocked.
This unblocked defender can be kicked out (POWER)….or read by the QB (POWER READ).
The kickout player can be a FB, pulling Guard, or Sniffer/TE/Wing coming across the formation. On POWER READ this same player pulls up into the hold to lead block for the QB.
The End is in total conflict:
These two plays allow you to take advantage of athletes at the skill positions and use your smaller, more athletic lineman - to your advantage.
As defenses have evolved, any good SYSTEM has answers. The MULTIPLE GUN SYSTEM will run it with fly sweep motion or add additional blockers at the point of attack.
Coach Marty begins by going over the blocking schemes:
The MULTIPLE GUN OFFENSE is a shotgun, fast pace, no-huddle offense:
Great detail about the TE rules, even covering 2-tight end formations to be even more devastating.
He demonstrates the footwork but primarily uses a TON of endzone film to teach the timing & mesh of the RB & QB. All this endzone footage with Hi-Def camera will teach you the read progression for the QB.
If you've ever wanted to run the power read in your offense, or enhance the version of the power read you're currently running, then this video
Whether it’s a game you expect to win, or one you are a heavy underdog – having one or two special plays in your back pocket to steal a touchdown can change the game.
Coach Marty breaks down the wide varieties of specials they have carried into game weeks the past few years, and most importantly talks about the why. Why did they install that look that week against that particular opponent. Most worked, a few didn’t. But carrying a few specials is a trademark of the Tiger Offense.
Defenses know they are going to have to line up and play great defensive football to slow Reedley’s Offense down, and often the trick play touchdown is the straw that breaks the camels back.
You’ll see some stuff you maybe know, you’ll see a couple ideas you probably never have – either way it may be a good way for your program to steal a couple TDs this coming fall.
RPO’s can be a huge asset for any offense – but an often-overlooked element of running RPO’s is that you are putting a huge amount of trust in your quarterback.
Most importantly, he gives you the rules he gives his quarterbacks!
There is a reason Reedley’s QB’s have finished 2nd and 5th in the state in passing efficiency the past two years, and the way the Tigers scheme their RPO’s and coach their quarterback to execution them goes a long way.
Coach Marty regularly employees RPO options into his run concept but he very clearly articulates the Quarterback’s responsibility and priorities to ensure maximum efficiency and success.
Coach Marty will break down the three different mesh styles.
He will also talk about how their receivers are running and blocking their perimeter screens
if you are not doing this you are leaving yards on the field!
You’re not going to want to miss this.
Learn the 4-Filter System
Don't make your QB read progression complicated
once the QB applies the PRE-SNAP filter system, then he has a 2-read progression
Learn why the MULTIPLE GUN OFFENSE has been a TOP 5 offense in the 68-team JUCO system in California
Once you listen to Coach Marty, you will quickly see why they went from 0-10 to 20-2 and he will be a Division 1 coordinator in the very near future
The first part of this video is about Building & Communicating the Pass Concepts.
A college QB and European MVP himself, Coach Marty is an expert at QB play.
Coach Marty takes you through his QB meetings. Tell you exactly the same things he tells his QBs in spring
This isn't a bunch of philosophy about QB traits and telling you the QB has to have great character
Coach Marty takes you through the vertical passing concepts that have helped create one of California's most explosive junior college offenses!
He will will talk about the go to vertical concepts he loves, and what concept he prefers to call against what coverage.
And best of all he will take you through multipe formation presentations so it can fit your offense!
Coach Marty will take you through the sprint out concepts and most importantly, the sprint out protections the Reedley Tigers have used so efficiently at the junior college level.
Whether it’s a critical third down or you need a high percentage early down completion to jump start a drive, sprint out is a tremendous weapon. It takes pressure off the offensive line, moves the launch point, and gets the quarterback out in space and time.
Coach Marty will walk you through his favorite sprint out concepts. Additionally he will teach the rules and techniques for their sprint out protection – and if you aren’t blocking your sprint out like this, you are missing out. This chapter will make you a more efficient passing offense and significantly improve your third down percentages!
We all know culture is important – but what are actual tangible ways to build your program’s culture?
Coach Marty’s take a deep dive into his program philosophy, how he organizes his program, and some of the drills and methods he uses to build their culture. You will come out with some innovative and creative ways to continue to build a championship caliber culture where you are at.
And remember now, Coach Marty has been through the fire. He took over a program with 9 team members on a two year probation, so he understands what it takes to build culture from square zero.
