    • In this drill, the goalkeeper will face game-like conditions.

      He will judge the speed and trajectory of the soccer ball.

      He will judge the ability of defending players to clear the ball.

      The goalie also has to judge the ability of the attacking players to get a shot on goal.

      The goalie must decide what method to handle the soccer ball.

         
      Tip: After several repetitions of just having the ball served without field players, add both attacking and defensive players to begin the process of having the goalkeeper sort out play in front of him or her.
