- Pass Interference - Definition
  - Interference with the opportunity to catch a pass
  - Usually playing the player not the ball
  - Eligible receiver cannot initiate contact beyond LOS
  - Only applies a legal forward pass play
  - Not pass interference if:
    
    Ball has touched a player or official
    
    Contact is before the neutral zone
    
    Contact occurs immediately after the snap, within 1 yard of the neutral zone
    
    Both players are making a genuine attempt to reach the ball
    
    The pass is not catchable
