    Quarterback Philosophy | Lou Marinelli

    • Quarterback Philosophy by Lou Marinelli

Teammates look to a quarterback to provide an example of leadership and sportsmanship. The QB must be willing to improve his play and his teammates' play. If that requires extra practice sessions with a receiver or a running back, he should take the initiative to do the extra work.

To be a good quarterback, the QB must develop the proper attitude. If something goes wrong or he makes a mistake, he must put it behind him and move on with a positive attitude. No head-hanging! The proper attitude includes inspiring teammates and not letting them hang their heads either. A positive competitive attitude goes a long way, and separates those who merely play the position and those who are quarterbacks.

      Good luck!
