    • The Power and Nobility of Sports
The morality that society demands can only exist in a world where our youth is held accountable for their character and taught the value of serving others with a noble heart. Coaches are charged each day to harness their power of influence and utilize the platform of athletics as our greatest teacher!

      Biography for Kendall Miller:
Kendall Miller just finished his 9th season as Head Football Coach at Lakeview Centennial H.S. and has now accepted the Head Football Coach job at Frisco ISD’s newest high school, opening this fall, Emerson High School.

Miller’s 22-year coaching career began in Arlington as a math teacher and assistant coach at Sam Houston H.S.  After 10 years as an assistant, Miller received his first head coaching position at South Oak Cliff H.S. in Dallas where he spent 3 seasons.  After winning two district championships and two “Coach of the Year” honors, Miller began his tenure at Lakeview Centennial.

Coach Miller is a Director for Region 3 on the THSCA Board.  He is the son of Ocell and Annie Miller.   Miller’s father was a Texas High School coach for 34 years before retiring in 1997.  Miller was born in Dallas, Tx and graduated from Skyline H.S. where he was a 3-sport athlete.   He played baseball at Tarleton State University.

Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Tarleton State.  He is married to the former Samanda Stewart of Myrtle Point, OR., and they are the parents of two daughters:  Sydney (10) and Kara (8).
