1. Proverbs 27:19: "As in water reflects the face of the heart of man so the heart reflects the man". This was used to illustrate that a person's words and actions show what is in their heart.
2. Matthew 16:26: "For what will it profit a man if he gains a whole world and forfeits his soul or what shall a man give in return for his soul". Stewart Hardy related this to coaching, asking if gaining everything in the sport is worth losing peace and one's soul.

To avoid this trap, he suggested having core values, which for his organization, spell out "ALL IN":

• Accountability: Do what you say you are going to do and own your actions.
• Leadership: Set an example and lead where you are.
• Love: Create an environment where people feel loved.
• Integrity: Do the right thing at all times, even when no one is looking.
• Nourishment: Ensure one's heart is "fertile ground" and open to growth, not hard, rotten, selfish, prideful, or arrogant. Fostering a nourishing environment in the locker room and at home is also important.

The next speaker was Logan Simmons from Little River Academy (the "Bumblebees"), who the speaker introduced with a quick story about how Logan Simmons helped him connect with other people for his podcast.
