Filtering Process for Test Selection:

• Determine the physical quality the test measures
• Ensure sufficient Construct Validity & Reliability
• Confirm ability to run the test & interpret the results
• Assess if the test allows for monitoring progress, prescribing interventions, and rank-ordering individual If "Yes" to all, use the test; if "No" or equivocal, educate oneself or reconsider use

• Understand context & objective (specific demands of patient/athlete, relative importance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or Key Functional Indicators (KFIs))
• Identify predictable KFI deficits based on diagnosis/condition
• Avoid single-criterion measures
