Fortunately swimmers don’t need much gear for their sport. Under the following links you’ll find some suggestions, however, I recommend you using for your training – excluding a neoprene wetsuit.

  • Pull Kick – Thy hybrid out of kickboard and pullboard. By using the Pull Kick you can manage several exercises pretty well.
  • Arena Paddles – With these paddles you have multiple positions for strapping: Either you have a good holding or you can exercise the correct hand position by leaving out the straps around your wrists. But carefull: Do not use paddles that are too big as it may ruine your technique because of too much needes power!
  • Speedo Paddles – A little bit cheaper than the Arena paddles but a good alternative because of the rubbers that you can change anywhere. But again: Please rather choose a number smaller.
  • Short fins – Short Powerfins are a great possibility to get the required pressure and to avoid cramps. At the same time you will get enough propulsion, but not too much, so have to work yourself doing the right moves.
