If you want to learn more about disputes that happen overseas under FIBA's jurisdiction, you can refer to BAT cases. They post all of the cases publicly online. If you take the time to read a few of the cases you'll start to see how crazy these situations get.

You'll see some cases are agents against players. And you'll see some cases that are players against clubs.
