Lesson 3:
Beat the Staff Rundown Game
This is ALWAYS A BLAST!
Instructions:
Players are the runners
Coaches/Parents are defensively positioned at 1st base, 2nd base, shortstop, and pitcher.
Runners are told to be picked off at first base and get into a run down.
Can the runners beat the coaches by taking an extra base???
Variations:
Sub players out at positions. Tell them to circle back after they throw the ball (like we teach in our drills)
Switch coaches and players all together. Can the coaches beat the players?!
