Lesson 8:
Formation Rules of Air Raid
The Air Raid portion of this offense has a specific set of formational rules to apply in the 'Base' concepts.
The 4 primary formations are: OPEN, ACE, EARLY, and LATE
Keep in mind that as the players learn and the season progresses, do not be afraid to add a motion to get set into an EARLY or LATE formation. Or start in an EARLY or LATE and motion into an ACE or OPEN. It does NOT change anything except for the teams ability to predict.
NOTE: There is an absolute gold mine of information on Air Raid - these particular sets are from Coach Matt Lasker - he has alot of good stuff on the Air Raid.
