Pulling guard on A-Gap Power
Differences between traditional Power and Power Read:
The path of the pulling guard allows him to come downhill to execute his kickout. The skip pull is executed so that the puller can see the insertion of the linebacker. He will have an inside out path that is relatively downhill in the way he attacks. Because a linebacker is filling downhill, the guard may have a short period of time to execute his assignment and block.
