WILL REY Head Basketball Coach / Northridge Preparatory School (Niles, IL)  43 seasons as men’s basketball coach: 23 in high school & 19 in college.  High school head coach: Northridge (2004-present), Fenwick HS (1982-85) and CreteMonee HS (1980-82).  351 high school Varsity wins in 20 seasons (average 18 wins per season).  Northridge has 170 boys in the high school / Northridge average ACT: 28.  Northridge Overall Record: 286-144 (.665) / Conference: 140-42 (.770).  Northridge Championships: 5 IHSA Regionals (2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015) / 3 Conference (2009, 2013, 2018) / 5 Holiday Tournaments (2004, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2018) / 2 “Super 16” IHSA Appearances (2009, 2015).  Northridge Winning Streaks: 13-0 undefeated at home in 2011-12 (school first); 15 straight wins 2008-09 (school first); 14 straight wins 2017-18; 12-0 undefeated conference champs 2017-18 (school first).  Coach-of-the-Year Awards: 4 IBCA District 4 (2009, 2014, 2015, 2018) / 5 Conference (2007, 2008, 2013, 2017, 2018) / 1 Rich South “Big Dipper” Classic Coach-of-the-Tournament (1981).  Halls-of-Fame: Chicago Catholic Athletic League (2017) / Illinois Basketball Coaches’ Association (2015) / FiveStar Basketball Camp (2005).  Sports Faith International’s Lifetime Coaching Achievement Award (2010).
University of Evansville assistant (1985-89) to Jim Crews: 2 conference championships; 2nd round Division I NCAA & NIT tournaments; 35-game home winning streak; Top-25 national ranking.  Loyola University Chicago head coach (1989-94): defeated national programs Notre Dame, Purdue, Wisconsin, Butler, Dayton, Northwestern, and St. Louis.  Wright State University assistant (1997-2003) to current Indiana University assistant coach Ed Schilling: back-toback 18 & 17 win seasons; wins over 8th ranked & 2000 NCAA Champion Michigan State and 20th ranked and undefeated Butler Bulldogs at Hinkle Fieldhouse.  Gordon Tech Assistant (1976-80) to former long-time NBA coach Bob Ociepka: IHSA 2A "Elite 8" appearance; 2 "Sweet 16" appearances; led lower-level Rams to 53-13 (.803) overall record, 2 Chicago Catholic League Championships.  Resident coach, administrator and lecturer for nearly 30 years at the nationally-renowned Five-Star Basketball Camp.  Produced 11 basketball instructional DVDs sold world-wide by the nation’s leading distributors of coaching education resources:
