COMBO: SCOUTING REPORT / GAME PLAN TEMPLATE

"COMBINE TO SAVE TIME without CUTTING CORNERS!"  This became one of my sayings as I got older.  Spending time with my family during the season became more important to me, so I combined as many coaching tasks as possible, in order to save time - so I didn't spend most of my evenings & all day on Sundays in my office.  However, I didn't want the quality of my work to diminish.  One of my most time consuming aspects of coaching was scouting & then constructing a game plan.  This scouting report template combines scouting & game planning into one document - hence the girth of it.  It is designed to be presented to your players in a way that makes it more enjoyable to read & retain information.  

Typically, we presented these scouting reports during a film session.  However, that is not a requisite, they can be presented as any coach sees fit.  We found that our film session productivity increased, as our players were more enthusiastic in regards to watching film & covering the scouting reports.
