Description
Build a more connected and effective basketball program with practical strategies for developing team culture, player decision-making, communication, and offensive execution. In this on-court clinic, Coach Rob shares the principles, drills, and practice habits that have shaped his program.
Coaches will learn how to create competitive practices, develop players through small-sided games, improve offensive spacing and cutting, and use simple communication triggers to create advantages on the court.
What You’ll Learn:
• Building Team Culture: Create a connected team by emphasizing bench energy, celebrating teammates, and recognizing contributions that don’t always appear in the stat sheet.
• Competitive Practice Design: Use scoring systems and competitive drills to reinforce the habits and behaviors you want your players to develop.
• Offensive Fundamentals: Develop jump stops, playing off two feet, late cuts, spacing, and paint touches through progressive drills.
• Offensive Communication & Triggers: Teach players simple signals and terminology that improve timing, spacing, screening, and decision-making.
• 3-on-3 Development: Use small-sided games to give players more touches, improve decision-making, and create opportunities to apply offensive concepts in live play.
• Creating Advantages: Teach players how to attack defensive reactions, get back to neutral, and create second advantages through cuts, handoffs, screens, and spacing.
• Coaching Development: Learn how to continue improving as a coach through clinics, camps, observing other programs, and building relationships with coaches.
With practical drills, competitive teaching methods, and clear coaching principles, this course gives coaches a proven framework for developing players, strengthening team culture, and creating a more intelligent, connected offensive system.
