Lecture Title: The Match Up 2-3 Zone
Coach Kimble McHone has spent 33 years in the teaching and coaching profession. He has spent the last 18 years at Boerne High School where he is the head boys’ basketball coach, assists with football, and teaches American Government and Economics. Coach McHone graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 with a degree in Kinesiology. Before coaching in Boerne, he made coaching stops at Uvalde and Snook High Schools. In 2020 he won his 400th career game. Coach McHone now has recorded 482 wins. His teams at Boerne High School have won, or shared, ten district championships (including 5 in a row) , twelve area championships, advanced to the regional tournament five times (2010, 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022), and advanced to the State Semifinals for a school record two years in a row. Coach McHone is the son of former San Antonio Spurs Head Coach, Mo McHone. He is married to Kari, who is a first-grade teacher in Boerne ISD. He and Kari have two children. Griffin is the Director of Operations for the men's basketball team at Kennesaw State University and Ellie is a kindergarten teacher in Boerne ISD.
