Mike Williams is an emerging NBA coach, currently serving as an assistant coach with the Utah Jazz, having joined the staff in 2023 after a run as head coach of the Capital City Go-Go in the NBA G League. He previously developed players with the Washington Wizards organization, working as a player development assistant coach under Scott Brooks from 2018 to 2021 before stepping into the Go-Go's head coaching role from 2021 to 2023. Williams led the Go-Go to one of the league's top records and most efficient offenses, showcasing his ability to create modern, high-paced systems, and that track record is what carried him into his current NBA assistant post.

A Washington, D.C. Native, Williams played college basketball at the University of Maryland, where he earned a bachelor's degree in multi-platform journalism and later a master's degree in business and management from the same school. He is regarded as a rising coaching talent and a future NBA head coach candidate.
