The South American Flex Offenseby KJ Smith
Various teams in South America use the popular flex cut to initiate many actions on the floor. In e course, you will see how two of South Americas best teams use it to create disadvantages for their opponents. You will get a first hand look at Quimsa (Former Argentinian League Champions) and Caxias do Sul of the Brazilian NBB League. The scheme does a great job of putting defenders in a constant situation of chasing the offensive player from behind and that will be evident as you watch this interesting twist on one of basketballs oldest weapons.
KJ is currently in his 4th season with Basquete Unifacisa of Brazil’s 1st Division known as the NBB. Coach Smith is responsible for Player Development, Opponent Scouting, and game preparation.

KJ is the 8th coach in his family with it’s members holding experience from High school to the WNBA and has learned to speak Brazilian Portuguese proficiently during his time in South America.
