Bernardo Fitz-Gonzalez is a FIBA head coach in South America,, and competes at a high level internationally in the Liga de Las Americas against clubs from Brazil (Baru and Flamengo), Argentina (Estudiantes), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Venzuela (Trotamundos) and other top teams in South and Central America.
He has the best record in the Colombian Professional League Direct TV in the last four seasons with Patriotas of Tunja and Bucaros of Bucaramanga. With the Bucaros, he led the team to a record for most games won in a season in the history of Colombian basketball.
Coach Bernardo's passion is to develop players on and off the court.
Coach Bernardo was a professional basketball player in Colombia and played for the Colombian National Team. He lives in Pasadena, California happily married to Suzanne.
