Josh Schertz

Coach Josh Schertz is a three-time National Coach of the Year and just completed his 12th season as the head men’s basketball coach at Lincoln Memorial University
 
LMU has amassed a remarkable 286-64 (.817) record in 11 seasons under Schertz’s direction, which is currently the fifth-highest winning percentage for a head coach in college basketball history and is third-best among active head coaches with at least 10 years at the helm. The Railsplitters have won seven South Atlantic Conference regular-season titles during that span, along with four tournament championships. Schertz has been named the South Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year a record six times (2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) and is the only coach in league history to lead his team to multiple NCAA Division II Final Four appearances, including the 2016 National Championship game.
