Durham Fencing Centre or Regional Fencing Centre Durham is one of the leading organisation of fencing in North East of England. The centre provides the opportunity to fencers in the UK to train in one of the best facilities and with the best coaches. Head coach Prof. Laszlo Jakab, a leading Hungarian coach who has coached 2 Olympic Gold Medalists in Bacelona and Seoul.

The centre's aim is to improve fencing skills and teaching is structured to fit age group, weapons and fencing skills. It also co-operated with Durham University providing the Durham Fencing Centre the best fencing salle in UK with 4 permanent metallic pistes and 8 electric boxes with all fencers will have opportunity to experience international standard equipment.
