Our team did a self analysis after the 2023 season and found that even though we were having success, we were having breakdowns on 3rd and 4th down, that we found were because our players didn't have situational awareness of the two most critical downs in football. Even though they are the two fewest played downs in football, they ultimately provide the larges Expected Points Added (EPA) average. Fail on 3rd and 4th down and you're likely to not have a positice outcome at the end of the game. These clues led to a turn around and success.
