The Coach

Adam Gaylor

Adam Gaylor is the head football coach of the Jenks Trojans, bringing a strong defensive background and a proven track record of success at the high school and collegiate levels. Prior to being named head coach, Gaylor served as Jenks’ defensive coordinator for six seasons, helping lead the program to four Class 6A-I State Finals appearances.

In 2021, his defense allowed just 8 points per game, one of the best marks in school history, earning him recognition as a Broyles Award finalist. Gaylor has also held defensive coordinator roles at Mustang High School and Broken Arrow, where his units consistently ranked among the top in the state.

His coaching career includes experience as a head coach at Westmoore High School, a secondary coach at the University of Central Oklahoma, and multiple successful stints at both the high school and junior college levels.

Gaylor is known for his defensive expertise, leadership, and deep commitment to the Jenks football tradition.
