The Coach
AJ Woolley is the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Vandergrift High School in Austin, Texas. He has coaching experience at both the high school and college levels, including stops at UT Permian Basin, Sam Houston State as an offensive line graduate assistant, and Pace University as an offensive line coach.
Woolley began his coaching career in Texas at Pittsburgh High School after working as a student assistant at LSU. He later returned to Texas to serve as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Lubbock Monterey High School before joining Vandergrift. Under his coaching staff, Vandergrift won the Texas 6A State Championship in 2024, the highest classification in the state, while building a program focused on developing players through system, coaching, and work ethic.
