Here's a draft for Alex Kline's bio based on the information you provided:

---

Alex Kline, a Western Pennsylvania native, is in his third season with the Pitt football staff. He initially joined the Panthers as an offensive quality control assistant in 2018, a season that saw Pitt win the ACC Coastal Division title. After a brief stint at the University of Memphis as the director of player personnel in 2022, Kline returned to Pitt and was promoted to assistant director of player personnel, then to director of college scouting in 2024.

Kline's coaching career began at Saint Vincent College, where he served as a graduate assistant before becoming the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. His tenure saw the Bearcats' passing game rank among the most productive in NCAA Division III, setting multiple school records.

Before joining the Pitt staff, Kline spent time at the University of Akron, where he coached the wide receivers and served as the recruiting coordinator. He played a key role in developing receiver Konata Mumpfield, who went on to become a 2021 Freshman All-American and is now a senior receiver at Pitt.

A standout player himself, Kline earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as a wide receiver at John Carroll University. He was a team captain and voted the Blue Streaks' Most Valuable Wide Receiver. Kline holds a bachelor's degree in business management from John Carroll University and a master's degree in management sciences from Saint Vincent College.

Kline's roots in Glenshaw, Pa., and his success as a student-athlete at North Catholic, where he was a two-time WPIAL champion in basketball, further underscore his deep ties to the Western Pennsylvania region.
