Dewayne Walker is the Cornerbacks coach for the Arizona Wildcats. He began his division 1 coaching career back in 1993 at Utah State. He became the BYU Cornerbacks coach the next year before serving as the defensive coordinator for BYU and Oklahoma State. In 1995, he became the cornerbacks coach for Cal, eventually leading to the same role for the New England Patriots from 1998-2000. Dewayne returned to college football in 2001 as the defensive backs coach for USC until returning to the NFL as the defensive backs coach for the New York Giants in 2002 and the Washington Redskins in 2004. Coach Walker once again returned to college football for UCLA as the defensive back coach from 2006-2008, and became head coach of New Mexico state from 2009-2012. Coach Walker returned to the NFL for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2013-2016 and the Cleveland Browns from 2019-2019. Dewayne has been with the Arizona Wildcats since 2019.
