The Coach
Ben Steele is in his 16th season of coaching and his 10th in the NFL, having joined the Arizona Cardinals as their tight ends coach on March 1, 2023. Prior to this, Steele served as the assistant offensive line coach for the Denver Broncos in 2022. He has held various coaching positions, including assistant offensive line coach with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 and tight ends coach with the Atlanta Falcons in 2020. During his time in Minnesota, Steele helped mentor an offensive line that supported RB Dalvin Cook and WR Justin Jefferson in achieving 1,000-yard seasons and QB Kirk Cousins in throwing for over 4,000 yards and 33 TDs.
In Atlanta, he coached TE Austin Hooper to his second Pro Bowl and helped TE Hayden Hurst achieve career highs. Steele began his NFL coaching career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he spent five seasons (2014-18), including two years coaching tight ends. His tenure in the NFL has been marked by significant player achievements and offensive successes.
