Chris Couch is the special teams coordinator at the University of Florida. Previously, he was the special teams analyst and recruiting coordinator for Tulane's Green Wave for five seasons, starting in 2020. In this role, he has contributed significantly to the success of Tulane's special teams unit, helping them rank among the top in the American Athletic Conference and nationally in kickoff and punt returns. Players like Amare Jones and Geron Eatherly have excelled under Couch's guidance, earning recognition and awards for their performances. Additionally, Couch's coaching at Point University and Georgia Southern showcased his ability to develop talent and contribute to successful seasons for his teams.

Before joining Tulane, Couch worked as a special teams coordinator and linebackers coach at Point University, where he played a key role in the team's impressive season and first-ever playoff appearance. His experience at Georgia Southern as a graduate assistant under Willie Fritz also contributed to his coaching expertise, where he was part of significant victories and helped develop future NFL players. Couch's educational background from Georgia Southern adds to his credentials, making him a valuable asset to Tulane's coaching staff.
