Chris Foerster- Run Game Techniques Built Off Base Beliefs

San Francisco 49ers Offensive Line Coach Chris Foerster shares his beliefs on building an effective run game.  For Coach Foerster, everything starts with the outside zone play.  The techniques of other runs within their playbook then, are designed to create the effect for the defense that all of the plays start in a way that makes them look like outside zone.

This is a philosophy and methodology that has allowed Coach Foerster to lead some of the best run-game offenses in the NFL.

Whether you are looking to run outside the zone or to create a more effective running game, the insight provided here will be valuable to your efforts.

This concept of trying to make plays look the same to the LB's is intriguing. The film does not lie, it works. I especially like the way he blocks the Deuce. Great video.
