The Coach
Dennis Long serves as the Special Teams Coordinator for Monmouth University's football program, a position he has held since February 2024. He initially joined the coaching staff in the spring of 2022 as the Special Teams Quality Control and Assistant Coach for Long Snappers, Kickers, and Punters. In 2023, he advanced to the role of Special Teams Coach before his current promotion.
A graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a degree in Political Science, Long has a rich background in football, both as a player and a coach. He is an alumnus of Saint Peter's Prep, where he began his football journey.
Beyond his coaching responsibilities, Long is actively involved in player development, particularly focusing on long snappers. He has shared his expertise through various platforms, including this course titled "Long Snapper Development." Additionally, he has participated in specialist camps aimed at enhancing the skills of aspiring football players.
