The Coach
Deonte Gibson is the outside linebackers and defensive ends coach for the University of Akron. Coach Gibson graduated from Northwestern in 2015 and went on to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions in 2016. He became a defensive graduate assistant for Northwestern in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, Gibson was the defensive line coach for Eastern Illinois.
