Steve Mask began coaching in 1990 and his first head coaching job at Colbert County he won two Alabama regional championships and had a state runnerup. His record at Colbert County was 42-15. He moved onto Bradshaw and won the first regional championship in school history, then took Buckhorn high school to a school best 9-win season in 2002. At St. Paul's in Mobile, he won a 5A state title in 2012 with a 15-0 record, then won it again in 2015 with a 13-2 record. His overall coaching record is 179-90, 6 region crowns, 16 playoff appearances.
