Coach Coltharp returns with the 2nd part of his 3-part Dog Soldier Defensive Series: Blitzes, Stunts, & Pressures.  Coach Coltharp is known as an Air Raid Certified Coach, but he was also a very successful Defensive Coordinator.  As both a Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator, Coach Coltharp has applied "Air Raid Philosophies" to his 3-4 Defensive Strategies.  The DOG (Defenders of Ground) Soldier defense is highlighted by its simplicity in identifying strengths, ease of alignment, attacking nature, and creating turnovers and negative plays.  Coach has had numerous all-conference players, 2 CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYERS of the year, and several scholarship athletes in the Dog Soldier Defense.  Take the journey to the "Air Raid" Dark-side without losing its principles.

What is covered in this course:

The 2nd part of Coach Coltharp's defensive course is a winner. It will help you get people off the field and your offense back out there. A great integration of attack philosophy in all parts of the game.

Just like Course 1 of the Dog Soldier Defense, the simplicity of it is really what I appreciate. I like that you can send pressure from all over the field but the offense has no idea where it's coming from because the defense is always giving them the same look. Regardless of what pressure you are sending, you stay solid against the run and pass. Once again, great job and great course by Coach Coltharp

I love the POD concept. So, you keep a group strong and the other weak side supporting each is half of that side of the line. Great ideas to simplify my 3-5-3 defense and loved the Navy Seals terms throughout the defense.
