The Coach
Tommy Psencik- 58 years old. Wife is Cheryl. Children are Katelin, Kendall, and Brody. Raised in Edna, Tx and graduated in 1981 from Edna High School. Began college at the University of Houston 1981-82. Graduated from Texas Lutheran College in 1986. Graduate Assistant for two years at Southwest Texas State. Coaching career spans 33 years in the public school system. Laredo Martin HS, East Bernard HS, Yoakum HS, Victoria Memorial HS, and Hallettsville HS. Beginning 12th season as Athletic Director for Hallettsville ISD. Much of coaching career was spent as Defensive Coordinator, Off-season Coordinator, Head Powerlifting, assistant coach for basketball, baseball, and track. Longest stints as a coach was Yoakum for 14 years, and Hallettsville for 12 years.
