Jack McDaniels is a key figure in the Georgetown University football program, where he currently serves as the Pass Game Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator. Since joining the coaching staff in 2022, McDaniels has significantly contributed to the team's offensive development. Here's an overview of his coaching journey and impact:

• Career at Georgetown:

  • Joined in 2022 as the Tight Ends Coach.

  • Promoted to Quarterbacks Coach in 2023 and to Pass Game Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator in 2024.

• Quarterback Development:

  • In his first season coaching quarterbacks, McDaniels helped Tyler Knoop pass for over 2,500 yards and 21 touchdowns.

  • Coached sophomore Danny Lauter, who set a program record with 428 passing yards in his first career start.

• Offensive Strategy:

  • Instrumental in the development of Georgetown's West Coast-style passing attack.

  • Focuses on concepts like the "Spacing" quick game pass, designed to create horizontal stretches in the defense, enabling quarterbacks to make quick, efficient reads and distribute the ball effectively.
