Coach McEndoo was recognized for his excellence as a coach being awarded the 2011 American Football Coaches Association FCS Assistant Coach of the Year.
He spent 12 seasons as an assistant coach at Montana State prior to coming to Oklahoma State in February of 2015.
At Oklahoma State, McEndoo coached the Cowboy Backs - a flexible tight end/fullback hybrid position. OSU’s offense switched back to more traditional fullback and tight end roles in 2023, with McEndoo coaching both postitions.
