He most recently served as the Offensive Coordinator at Duncanville High School for the past two years, where he contributed to the program’s success through his offensive leadership and system implementation.
Coach Lavender comes from a strong family foundation and credits his family as a central part of his journey. He has been married to his wife, Shelly, for over 25 years. His son, Jackson Lavender, played as a slot receiver at SMU for three years and is continuing his football career at Charleston State.
