Jeff Gallo, a Monmouth University alum and a long-standing member of the coaching staff, took on the role of Offensive Coordinator in the spring of 2019 and is set to enter his 20th season with the program in 2024. Additionally, he assumes the position of Associate Head Coach, marking his fifth season in that role. Gallo has been instrumental in guiding Monmouth's offensive strategy and development, particularly with the tight ends since 2007.

In the 2023 season, Monmouth's offense continued its impressive performance from the previous year, ranking 12th in total offense (431.5 ypg) and 13th in scoring offense (32.5 ppg). This success was fueled by standout performances from All-Americans like running back Jaden Shirden and wide receiver Dymere Miller, both earning consensus First Team All-American honors. Shirden, a force on the field, clinched third place in the Walter Payton Award voting and secured the CAA Offensive Player of the Year accolade, while Miller dominated in receiving, leading the FCS in both total yards (1,293) and yards per game
