Jon Kitna - Beyond the Gameby THSCA
Coach Kitna has many stories he could share but he believes that this topic is what is missing from the vast majority of football players and coaches lives. He's been behind the scenes of college and NFL yet he's still here to share how going beyond the gridiron is where it's at to reach the hearts of players.
In this course, you're going to see Jon's presentation on the finer points of player development and how to be an asset to your team. He covers things why like:
- Why do you coach?
- The purpose of coaching
- An epidemic of "manhood"
- What is a real man?
Jon Kitna played in the NFL from 1997 - 2001 and is currently the QB coach for the Dallas Cowboys. He went to college at Central Washington University and was signed by the Seattle Seahawks in 1996. After playing in the NFL, he was the head coach for his alma mater Lincoln High School in Washington until he resigned to take a job at Waxahachie High School near Dallas in 2015.
Jon holds a 36-16 record as a high school head football coach between 2012-2016.
He became the QB coach for the Dallas Cowboys earlier in 2019.
