Marty Costello is entering his ninth year with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2024, serving as the offensive line coach for the seventh season. Under his guidance, the Blue Bombers' offensive line has become the most consistent and dominant unit in the CFL. Over the past two seasons, they have allowed the second-fewest quarterback sacks in the league while leading in scoring. Key players such as Jermarcus Hardrick, Pat Neufeld, and Stanley Bryant have earned significant accolades, including CFL All-Star selections and the West Division's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman finalist. Costello's line played a crucial role in Brady Oliveira's first CFL rushing title and Zach Collaros's league-leading passing touchdowns.

Costello's tenure with the Blue Bombers has been marked by continued excellence, including the fewest quarterback sacks allowed in 2021, a top-scoring offense, and numerous all-star recognitions for his linemen. Before joining the Blue Bombers, Costello served as the run-game coordinator and offensive line coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and before that, he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Valley City State, where he led the team to three consecutive conference championships. His extensive experience and success at various coaching levels have made him a respected figure in the football community.
