Mike Machado is in his second season as the offensive coordinator at his alma mater in 2023. In his first two seasons as offensive coordinator, Machado has helped the Pioneers move into the top four of the conference standings and turn into one of the top offenses in the Northwest Conference. He is an alum of Lewis & Clark College and currently serves as the offensive coordinator for the Pioneers. Machado's coaching has led the team to a top-four conference ranking and one of the most potent offenses in the Northwest Conference. He has an impressive coaching portfolio, including experience in Division I football at San Jose State University, where he helped the team achieve offensive success and win a championship title. Machado's coaching style emphasizes efficiency and productivity, as evidenced by Lewis & Clark's record-breaking completion percentages and notable performances by key players. In the 2023 season, Machado's leadership saw Lewis & Clark achieve record-breaking performances, including setting a program-high in points scored in multiple games and displaying impressive offensive prowess.
