Overhang Drill: Reading the EMOLOS

by Robert Herre
Overhang Drill: Reading the EMOLOS

Description

Here is a drill for the overhangs of your defense.  They are reading the end man on the line of scrimmage and this video shows what they execute based on the different reads they make.  I show this video to my 3 safeties (4-2-5 and 3-3 structures) but can be used for other schemes as well.  What do you do when you get a pass read?  What about a run to you or away?  This video is a great tool for the classroom for players to learn before going out on the field to make your drill time more efficient.
