Description

Part of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday OC School Bundle

Do you want to learn how to use analytics to statistically improve your team? Well, you've come to the right place! In this course, Coach Rich Worsell breaks down analytics and teaches you how to use them for the benefit of your team. They can help you optimize your team's performance and assist in making the most educated decision. He details out his job responsibilities, data analytics basics, and how to use the data so you aren't tracking all your data for anything. If you are a coach who wants to efficiently and effectively use data to help your team, then this is the course for you.

He begins the course by explaining what his job duties are in-season and out-of-season as a Director of Football Research and Analytics. In-season, he is the go-to guy for scouting, opponent overview, situational presentations, tracking during fall camp/spring ball, and much more. Out-of-season, he heads research projects like NFL and NCAA studies and trends. Basically figuring out what works for high-end teams and figuring out how to emulate them within your team. This is a valuable position for any team. In order to find out more about his position, you need to get this course.

Next, he basically gives an educational crash course on analytics. He breaks down everything you need to measure like tackles, yards per carry, completions, and much more. He also shows off how to breakdown the film to your staff and athletes and to look for things that are happening the most. You need to take game by game notes and be able to create different types of reports for offense, defense, special teams, and more.

With all these analytics, he then shows off how to break them down and use them to your advantage. For example, they can help you call different plays that are statistically better for a 1st and 10 play or if you're in a redzone. Another key point he makes is to show off the score differentials in your breakdowns. This will help make the difference in seeing why and how you would run certain plays in certain situations. If you want to learn how to use data and analytics to your advantage then you will not want to miss out on this course!

If you are a coach who wants the help and statistics to make better coaching decisions this course is a must. Using analytics will help you make informed decisions and point you in the right direction for calling plays, who to play, scouting and much more!
