As of 2025, Ryan Roeder serves as the Passing Game Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach at Lafayette College, a position he has held since 2022.In this role, he has been instrumental in developing the team's aerial attack and mentoring the wide receiver corps, contributing to the Leopards' offensive strategies.

Before joining Lafayette, Roeder amassed valuable experience in both collegiate and professional football. From 2013 to 2019, he was part of the New York Giants' coaching staff in the National Football League (NFL), serving as an Offensive Assistant Coach. During his tenure with the Giants, Roeder contributed to various aspects of the offensive unit, gaining insights into high-level football operations. Prior to his NFL experience, Roeder held coaching positions at several institutions. He was the Tight Ends Coach at Princeton University, where he coached from 2010 to 2012, focusing on developing tight ends and contributing to the offensive game plan.

Earlier in his career, he served as a Graduate Assistant - Offense at Temple University, working with the offensive coaching staff to support various aspects of the offense. Roeder's coaching journey began at his alma mater, the University at Albany, where he transitioned from a standout quarterback to a coaching role. As a player, he was a first-team All-Northeast Conference quarterback, leading Albany to the 2002 NEC and ECAC championships. He completed 131 of 213 passes for 1,366 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior, also rushing for 259 yards and eight TDs. He ranks second in total offense (4,039), third in passing yards (3,546), and tied for fourth in passing touchdowns (24) in the school's record books.

Throughout his career, Roeder has been recognized for his offensive acumen, player development skills, and ability to adapt to various levels of football competition. His diverse coaching background, spanning collegiate programs and the NFL, has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the game, benefiting the student-athletes under his mentorship.
