Sean Saturnio is a well-experienced coach who has been with the Army Black Knights for 10 seasons. He has specialized in coordinating special teams since 2020. During his tenure, the Army's special teams have performed remarkably well, especially in blocking punts, having nine blocked punts over the last three seasons, which is tied for the most in the FBS. Saturnio's teams have consistently been among the top-ranked teams in the country, with impressive rankings in punt blocks, punt returns, and kick return defense, which have significantly contributed to the Army's success on the field.

Besides his expertise in special teams, Saturnio has played crucial roles in the Army's overall football strategy. He has coached the tight ends and contributed to the team's formidable rushing attack. His exceptional coaching skills have been recognized with nominations for prestigious awards like the AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year. Saturnio's coaching journey began as a college player, and then he had successful stints as a high school head coach before transitioning to the college coaching ranks, which demonstrates his deep understanding of the game and leadership skills.
