The Coach

Coach Bobby Acosta has a myriad of coaching experience at nearly every level football. The veteran coach serves as the team?s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Bucknell University.

Acosta has been involved in coaching at various levels, from high school to the NFL, for 19 years. Recently, he spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons at Syracuse before moving on to Cornell in 2015. At Syracuse in 2015, he served as the Orange?s wide receiver coach and recruiting coordinator, where he helped attract 18 three-star recruits and five players ranked among the top 50 at their positions in the country, according to 247 sports. Most recently, Coach Acosta spent two seasons on the Syracuse staff under head coach Scott Shafer, working with the tight ends in 2014 and the wide receivers in 2015. He also spent the 2015 campaign as the program's recruiting coordinator, helping the Orange haul in 18 three-star recruits and five players ranked among the top 50 at their positions in the country.

Prior to his stint at Syracuse, Acosta spent one year as head coach at Widener (2013) and five seasons as assistant coach at TCNJ (2008-12), the last four as offensive coordinator. That came on the heels of two seasons as the tight ends coach at Delaware, helping the Blue Hens to the 2007 FCS National Championship game and assisting in the development of future Super Bowl-winning quarterback Joe Flacco. He served as head coach at both Marlboro HS (2002-04) and Monmouth Regional HS (2006-07) with a brief intermittent stint as wide receivers coach at TCNJ for three years. Acosta began his coaching career at Rowan (1999-2001) as the team's defensive backs and special teams coach. In addition, he spent the 2008 (Cleveland Browns) and 2010 (New York Jets) NFL preseason serving coaching internships.

In his one season as head coach at Widener, the Pride went 6-4, and averaged 439.7 yards and 31.8 points per game. At TCNJ, his offense set school records for passing yards (2,491) and completions (269) in a season in 2012. During the 2009 campaign, the offense scored the most points in a single-season in program history (309), as wel las yards in a game (708 vs. FDU-Florham).

Acosta played four seasons at Rowan, helping the team to the Stagg Bowl - the Division III national championship game - each year.

This course is great for the most experienced coaches to coaches just starting out. Coach Costa Details what makes his system so successful. He walks you through game planning, install schedules, practice formats and much more! I enjoyed his run game concepts against different fronts and how it changes blocking assignments for the Oline. I would recommend this to any offensive coach or aspiring offensive coordinator.

Wow! Plethora of information. Coach Acosta's passion for the Game is infectious. He is very neat, prepared, and organized. He breaks down complex offensive and defensive strategies and makes it much simpler. When he coaches and explains Anything, we grasp the concepts much faster than any other clinic, college, and professional coaches. Get it. It's well worth the low price. Our program has seen drastic improvement offensively and defensively because of the simplicity of the systems. Defensively, the student-athletes understand what angles the other offenses are trying to take advantage of. I personal can not thank you enough!

There is a great deal of content included with this course. Over 90 lessons at this point. I got this course about a year ago and Coach Acosta just added more content! That shows that the product is still supported. As for the content, there is hours of topics from things like Quick Game, Tempo, and RPOs to even using Teaching Tapes and how to drill the plays he lectures on. Excellent product.
