Tyler Loftus is a quarterback coach at the University of Rhode Island and an analyst at UCONN. He joined Bob Chesney's coaching staff as a volunteer in 2019, focusing on offensive quality control in Suny Morrisville and College of the Holy Cross. In 2018, Loftus worked as a volunteer assistant coach at Wagner College, contributing to the team's fourth-place finish in the Northeast Conference.

He graduated from Wagner in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in government and politics, having been a quarterback for the Seahawks football team for four years. Loftus was recognized three times on the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll during his college career.
