USING THE SPIN SERIES IN THE SINGLE WING STYLE POWER OFFENSE

by Dan Woolley
USING THE SPIN SERIES IN THE SINGLE WING STYLE POWER OFFENSE

Description

In this course, Coach Woolley will use presentations and videos to show you how to implement the Spin Series as a change-up to the straight-ahead attack of The Single Wing Style Power Run Series allowing you to confuse defenders, created doubt, and keep the defense off-balance to protect the base plays.

This series allows you to run most of the same base plays detailed in Coach Woolley's first presentation, A SINGLE WING STYLE POWER RUN SERIES FOR USE IN ANY OFFENSE- FEATURING POWER, SWEEP, COUNTER XX AND WEDGE, with no changes to the blocking schemes, thereby increasing your complexity to the defense, while allowing your players to execute at a high level. The only change is to the mesh path of the backs which stays consistent, no matter the play.

This course will show you  when to run the Spin Series and how to run the following plays in the Spin Series (and how they can be effective no matter the defensive alignment.)

1. Spin Power

2. Spin Sweep Strong

3. Spin Sweep Weak

4. Spin Wedge

5. Spin Pass

6. Spin Screen

IT IS STRONGLY SUGGESTED THAT YOU HAVE PURCHASED THE FIRST COURSE, A SINGLE WING STYLE POWER RUN SERIES FOR USE IN ANY OFFENSE- FEATURING POWER, SWEEP, COUNTER XX AND WEDGE. WHILE THE SPIN COURSE COULD BE UNDERSTOOD AS A STAND ALONE COURSE, THE KNOWLEDGE GAINED IN THE FIRST COURSE WILL ALLOW YOU TO BE MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE AT THIS SERIES.

This is a supplementary course for Dan’s Single Wing Offense, which is excellent, and gives the viewer another weapon to add to their offensive arsenal! Where his base system is predicated on Power, this series is based on Mis-Direction along with Power! Dan goes into detail on the implementation of this addition with diagrams, video’s and explanations to the his base Single Wing Offense. His motto of “chasing Ghosts” gives the defense another layer of practice time trying to stop this devastating offense! Another Gem here!

This course provides a great overview of the Spin Series and a way to attack the defense from D Gap to D Gap.

Coach Woolley's Spin Series creates exactly what he says it does, defenses chasing ghosts! The deception and misdirection possibilities of this series is phenomenal. His analysis of the film is a gold mine. He's not just putting up clinic clips, he goes through what things went wrong and explains how to correct them. Both his series are perfect for anyone just diving into the SW offense!
