Sports Chiropractor and Triathlon Coach, Dr JD Hasenbank, shows you how to break in a new pair of running shoes.
Since being a college athlete, Dr. Hasenbank has been passionate about moving better and hurting less. While finishing his Biomedical Degree from Texas A&M University, he became a Fitness Specialist and a Certified Personal Trainer. While completing his Doctorate in Chiropractic he became certified as an Applied Kinesiologist and Strength & Conditioning Specialist. While in private practice, he has taken over 1000 hours of continuing education in sports injury prevention, evaluation, treatment therapies, and techniques. He is also certified as a Kinesio-Taping Professional, Chiropractic Sports Physician, Triathlon Coach, Functional Movement Specialist, Dry Needling Specialist and in Active Release Techniques.
In private practice since 2001, Dr, Hasenbank has worked with athletes from the NFL, NBA, NCAA, Olympics, WNBA, PGA, ATP, USA-Triathlon, USA-Track & Field, USA-Cycling, Elite Marathoners & Ultra Endurance Racers. He has worked directly for Rice University, Houston Baptist University and Vanderbilt University with Basketball, Baseball, Cross Country, Golf, Lacrosse, Football, Tennis, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Track & Field, and Volleyball. Also, since being in Nashville, he has worked with several top musicians and performers.
He is also the founder of FAST Lab, a collaboration of healthcare and fitness professionals, who design and develop seriously simple Corrective Exercises Programs to teach and empower you to "Move Better & Hurt Less" without needing a massage therapist, chiropractor, or physical therapist.
